As an Expert Backstack Solution Engineer, your mission will be to develop and deploy the technical and functional specifications from the Solution Designers / Business Architects / Business Analysts, guaranteeing the correct operability and the compliance with the internal quality levels.
We need somebody like you to help us in different fronts:
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop the required specifications, through the delivery of services and technical Backend components required for its operation with a view of your own development and its integration with other teams and systems.
- You will document your solutions in the Group Santander tools: JIRA, Confluence, ALM…
- Ensure the code quality required by Santander standards.
- Participate in all aspects of Development lifecycle.
- Work with QA and Business Analysts to analyse issues and creating solutions.
- Understand product business requirements and review user stories, to detect and remove defects early in the product development life cycle.
- Participate in Agile development processes including communicating ideas, questions, and concerns openly with the team.
- Participate in relevant agile events: planning and estimation, daily stand ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Working collaboratively with product owners, business analysts, developers, and testers to ensure quality is built into our applications as new features and technologies are introduced.
Key Requirements:
- Experience in programming backend applications, ideally on Agile
- Experience developing under Java Spring boot technology.
- Experience with Java 17 and/or 11 required
- Experience working in event driver arquitecture.
- Experience managing cloud computer services (Openshift, Kubernetes..)
- Experience in Github, Jenkins and Urbancode in a continuous integrating workflow
- Good communication skills in both verbal and written. English mandatory, Spanish nice to have.
- Must have a pro-active, positive, open, and collaborative approach to work with others in the team
- Advantageous – Experience in DDBB query development (Oracle)
- Advantageous - knowledge of financial products
Experience: 5+ years | Location: Malaga
Experience Essential:
- Participation in the development of solutions in the definition and the testing.
- Collaborate in the execution of the agile methodology of product development.
- Experience in functional and technical testing.
- Experience and knowledge in testing microservices, APIs and Kafka.
- From 1 years of experience using the required technologies and tools.
- Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD).
- Experience In TDD/BDD practices.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge in Trade & Supply Chain Finance products.
- Knowledge in payments channels/formats (ISO).
- Knowledge in accounting and regulatory reporting.
