Main tasks for the Business Analyst will include:
- Serving and supporting the Product Owner and Development Team to do everything possible to delight customers.
- Educating the Product Owner to refining and managing the product backlog.
- Providing all support to the team using a servant leadership style and leading by example. This person should personify Scrum and Agile.
- Guiding and Coaching the Scrum Team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values
- Guiding and Coaching the Scrum Team on self-organizing to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile/Scrum frameworks. And in how to get the most out of self-organization.
- Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization. Coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization.
- Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment.
- Protecting the team from interruptions and external interferences, keeping the team focused within the context of the project vision and goals
- Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis of healing and problem solving.
- Facilitating the effectiveness and continuous improvement of the process being followed by the team. Facilitating getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work.
- Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution. Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information
- Working actively in the Guild of Scrum Masters.
EXPERIENCE
- Essential:
- 1-2 years of experience using the required technologies and tools.
- Nice to have
- Experience In TDD/BDD practices
EDUCATION
- Certificate of Higher Education/University Degree/Master. Technical background would be a plus.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Essential:
- Scrum Master Proffesional certification
- Experience and knowledge in Kanban Method
- User level knowledge JIRA, ALM (Application Life-cycle Management) and Microsoft Teams tools.
- Highly fluent in English: both written and spoken.
- Excellent communications skills.
- Proactive and Oriented to results.
- Good change management.
- Spanish would be a plus.
- Supply chain finance products (ej. Confirming) would be a plus.
- Payment methods and accounting knowledge would be a plus.
- Nice to have:
- Knowledge of scaled frameworks like SaFe, Nexus, Less
- Be able to understand all the tools involve in a deployment pipeline
- Knowledge of Management 3.0
