Data management: Strategy & Roadmap
The project aims to implement a three-year digital transformation strategy to manage data as a valuable corporate asset.
The objective is to establish effective data governance and management practices within the bank to ensure data can be easily located, accessed, integrated, and reliably reused.
This must be done while complying with regulatory frameworks defined by Saudi government agencies (such as SDAIA, SAMA, NDMO, NCA), international data management standards (including DAMA, ISO27000, ISO38000, GDPR), and international banking regulations (BCBS).
The project scope includes improving data management maturity levels, implementing a robust data management framework with appropriate controls, and enhancing compliance and privacy scores through the application of regulatory standards.
